By accessing or using iMSurveyor (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including free trial users, individual subscribers, company account holders, and enterprise clients.
iMSurveyor is an AI-powered maritime survey and inspection management platform. It enables maritime professionals to create survey reports, conduct vessel inspections, manage tank calibrations, schedule surveys, and export professional documentation. The Platform includes offline functionality, AI-assisted report generation, and a bunker survey calculator.
The Platform is offered under the following subscription tiers: Basic, Pro, Company, and Enterprise. Prices are as displayed on the Pricing page at the time of subscription.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until that date. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

Reports and documents generated by the Platform's AI tools are drafts for professional review only. They are intended to assist qualified maritime surveyors in documentation preparation and do not constitute formal survey reports, legal opinions, or seaworthiness certificates. iMSurveyor expressly disclaims all liability for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content without independent professional verification.
iMSurveyor is an independent preparation and documentation tool. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or approved by OCIMF, IMCA, RightShip, or any other classification society or regulatory body. Formal inspections and audits subject to third-party accreditation requirements must be conducted through the official channels of the relevant organisation by an authorised inspector.

Regulatory Notice: Reports, checklists, and audit outputs generated by iMSurveyor are intended as preparation and documentation aids only. They do not constitute official class surveys, flag state inspections, PSC inspections, ISM audits, ISPS audits, MLC inspections, or vetting approvals. iMSurveyor does not replace the requirement to engage qualified surveyors, auditors, or inspectors for official certification or compliance purposes.
Reports generated using iMSurveyor's AI report generation feature are based on information provided by the user. iMSurveyor makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated content. Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before submission to any third party.
The Platform, its design, software, branding, and underlying technology are the exclusive intellectual property of iMSurveyor. You retain ownership of the survey data and content you input into the Platform. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited licence to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described therein.
iMSurveyor and its founders accept no liability for decisions made, actions taken, or losses incurred based on reports, checklists, or outputs generated through this platform. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iMSurveyor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. You may export your data prior to termination; after account deletion, data is permanently removed within 30 days.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to you by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
